What is the difference between Biogeography and Landscape Ecology? The articles as written don't seem to be all that different from each other. They should probably reference each other and explain the differences or be merged into one. Jmeppley 16:28, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Biogeography and Landscape Ecology are very different - Biogeography deals with a very different spatial scale, and also deals with species, rarely with populations, energy flows, or interactions. There are some similarities, but they are quite distinct. As soon as I have the time I will edit the articles to make that distinction Guettarda 17:07, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
