Conjecture[edit]

Experts speculate that the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter is likely to be the last U.S. manned fighter.. This needs to have some clarification. Knowing a lot of USAF pilots, and having asked them this very question, I would disagree with this statement, based upon their input. Can you provide some clarification here? It's not really like an NPOV issue, but a matter of clarifying conjecture. Avriette 01:44, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Different Variants[edit]

Like what was briefly discussed in the Northrop Grumman X-47 article, the different variants of this aircraft, the "A" and the "C", are radically different. Right now it is probably fine to keep them in together in one article, but as more information becomes available on the "C", it should probably be split off into its own article. -SidewinderX (talk) 12:32, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Related aircraft[edit]

Right now the McDonnell Douglas X-36 and the Boeing Bird of Prey are listed as related aircraft. As far as I know, those aircraft aren't directly related (and I don't see anything cited in the article to contradict that). I'm sure things learned from those programs were applied to the X-45, in the same way that any company incorparates earlier work into later work, but I don't think they are related in the way that we usually mean for that field. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
