rents answer[edit]

This is the first question that I think I've actually gotten right so here goes. I searched for Wikipedia and Bevel on Yahoo and came across Bevel Lemelisk, some Star Wars guy. He created the death star or something like that by Geonosis. Okay anyway in 2002 Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones was realeased into theatres. In that movie there was a Battle of Geonosis where Jango Fett died. Jango Fett is my answer. Rentastrawberry 22:44, Apr 24, 2005 (UTC)

I wouldn't call the planet Geonosis a "village". So, I'm sorry, no. The villages in the question are located on earth (and Bevel is a village on earth as well). Eugene van der Pijll 16:13, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Netherlands?[edit]

A wikipedia search for +Bevel +village led to Heikant, a small village 1 km southeast of Bevel in Belgium. Heikant is apparently also the name of former villages in the Netherlands, in the municipalities of Cranendonck and Gilze en Rijen. Couldn't find anyone who died in either in 2002 though. Searching Deaths in 2002 for anyone Dutch yielded Claus von Amsberg, Hans Janmaat and Pim Fortuyn, but none apaprently died in those municipalities. Oh well. If this helps anyone else, good luck to them. -- Thejesterx 17:18, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Heikant lists a lot of Dutch villages, mostly in North Brabant. Another "former village" named Heikant is in Groesbeek. Not that I found anyone who died there either. FreplySpang (talk) 12:08, 2 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Almost there....?[edit]

I did a search for keyword Nijlen, and found Heikant, a page that lists a LOT of villages named Heikant. I checked out all of the past tense villages with current links to municipalities and did not find any deaths there or throught 'what links here'. I don't have the time to check them all out, though, but will try to do so soon. Note that our esteemed/notorious Wikifun editor was a major contributor to the Heikant page. Also there are a list of former Heikant's without wikilinks about half-way down the page, if anyone wants to track them down. Good luck, y'all! JimCollaborator «talk» 00:18, May 4, 2005 (UTC)

Edsger Dijkstra[edit]

Ok, Edsger Dijkstra died in Nuenen, Gerwen en Nederwetten in 2002. A village called Heikant was within/near what is now Nuenen. JimCollaborator «talk» 01:30, May 4, 2005 (UTC)
