Cows have 6 nipples four working ones, and two nubs that don't work.

No they don't. Well, most don't. SOme cows have an error, one or two extra pimples, but they don't work and they are being bred away. Man, i need to extend this... 81.0.151.120 08:57, 26 January 2006 (UTC) (User:ThorRune)[reply]
That whole udder care sentance is bull... Well, true that it's important to clean the udder before milking it. But it's not maily to ceep it clean and keep from mastites (allthough it does that too), but maily it's to make the cow start letting the milk down. My only problem writing this into the article is that i don't know the english word for most these things. I'm a norweigan farming student, and lean only the norwegian words and terms... hey is any one out there, we need some help.. just got back from the movie "barnyard,," and have a question, do male cows have udders

what are you talking about?there are now such things as male cows!a male is called a bull who is used for breeding or who can be casterated to become a bullock or a steer if not of good quality for breeding.a cow produces a calf or sometimes more in one year and then continues to produce milk in a dairy enterprise or in a suckling herd rears the calf.a bull is the same as a man and a cow a woman.

He is talking about the movie, BARNYARD ANIMALS!!! Two of the "cows" (with udders!) are the main MALE characters. Are these movie makers that far removed that this detail was missed, or did I miss a political statement?? Tell your kids. . . NO such thing as a male cow!!!! CCCC

It is a joke.--Patrick 13:06, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just the girls?[edit]

Do only female animals have udders? The pic is of a male horse with two teats while the article says that only female farm animals are having the udders. What's up?Peter Napkin Dance Party (talk) 05:32, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
