MLS Team pages

Reaching the finals is very much an "honor." Making it to the finals shows that you are one of, if not THE, best team in whatever league were talking about, in this case MLS. Being one of the best seems like an honor to me, even if you lose in the finals, that's 2nd place, 2nd best in an entire pro sports league at minimum deserves some recognition. universally in this society we like to recognize not just first place, but also second and third place, as seen in the olympics where theres a medal for first, second, and third place. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place have always been regarded as honors in this society, 4th place kinda got screwed out of and honor.

i moved the above from the chicago fire page to its talk page. we have talk pages to work out disagreements of this sort (i'm ambivalent and agree with both of you) without having to mar the actual articles with meta commentary. Nateji77 07:32, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I know you are new, so I'll cut you some slack. This jerk is NOT going away, as he has contributed more to MLS section of Wikipedia than anyone else over the past year. Problem? edit wars are never good, that's why we have the talk pages. so we can debate what to do without pissing on the same tree again and again, and actually talk pros and cons.

DMC, sign yr name with three tildes ~ to but a link to yr user page, with 4 ~s to put yr name and the date of yr post.

also, if y'r working on soccer at all you're going to be working with dryazan a lot; do your google searches, get the information up, and see what he and the rest of us do with it; if you dont like it, ask us before you just revert it. thats what our talk pages are for. i know it can be frustrating having your work tossed; often there's a way to find another place for it.

speaking of jerks, we had this guy awhile back wanted all soccer pages out of wikipedia cuz they weren't "encyclopedic." good times.
