Hey all, I'm the WikiProject Cities assessor of this article. If feedback is what you want and need, come to my talk page and give me a holler! --Starstriker7(Dime algoor see my works) 07:14, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changes[edit]

Fixed reference to location in respect to Rochester (corrected data per Township of Brighton), and eliminated two dead & unneccesary links -- i.e. to word "school" and something else. Eliminated sup for "th" as generally not used. Fleshed paragraph a bit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by OrangeFluffyCat (talkcontribs) 15:38, 10 October 2003

Changes to clarify local jurisdiction[edit]

Removed "and census-designated place" from lead sentence. A census-designated place is a term that is generally used for a local geographic area that is not a legally distinct local jurisdiction and does not have a local government. A census-designated place is also sometimes referred-to as an "unincorporated community". The Town of Brighton, on the other hand, is a legally constituted municipality, and has a distinct municipal government. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.73.213.182 (talk) 18:40, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notable residents[edit]

User:67.51.177.214's claim regarding "Alex Davis" is not supported by the article on White House Chief of Staff. Google search produces nothing either. Please post proof or retract. --DanielPenfield 21:29, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the Google search is evidence enough for this being a hoax. I just removed a similar one the other day. I'm removing this one too. Powers 04:57, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also under Notable resdients, there should be Linda Sue Park, a Newberry winning children's author. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.101.125.243 (talk) 00:06, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Land/water area[edit]

The rounding makes these numbers look funny. I did my best to make it look reasonable by putting two significant digits for the water area. Here are the raw numbers:

  • land: 40.061 km²
  • water: 0.444 km²
