It would be helpful if you could clarify the distinction between the following:

  • The model as a mathematical system describing the interrelation of variables. These are basically equations(or iteration schemes or something abstract)
  • Implementation of computer program (in mathematica) that run simulations based on the abstract model.

This I believe would also be helpful to your research.

CSTAR, thank you for corrections and clarification. You are of course quite right in the distinction you make between the mathematical formulation of a model and the practical implementation. The EconMult description was rather confusing in this respect. Inspired of your intervention I totally restructured the article. I also added a new article (EconSimp), as this actually represents practical use of EconMult. I will add more another day (when I have time). Thanks again. -- Arnejohs 10:52, 9 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Yes that's very helpful. What do the variables qi,j mean? CSTAR 16:12, 9 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Thanks again, CSTAR. I will try to improve the documentation now and then, hoping to reach a sufficiently precise level as soon as possible. I have added a few words to describe q, alpha and beta, and will add the economical part as soon as I have time for it. -- Arnejohs 11:12, 11 Jun 2004 (UTC)
