A Mind Beside Itself[edit]

"Each song is a separate index on the CD, and Dream Theater treat them as individual songs at, for example, live concerts. They were, however, played together (back to back) and released on the live album Live Scenes from New York and are listed under the title A Mind Beside Itself parts i, ii and iii on the DVD discography." This line makes it seem like this was the only time they played it entirely. According to the Mike Portnoy.com Tourography, all 3 tracks have been played together 117 times. --- Leeferdude 02:17, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think something should be mentioned of the Space Dye Vest theme being repeated at different points in the album.- User:Random Dream Theater Fan

Fair use rationale for Image:Dream Theater - Awake.jpg[edit]

Image:Dream Theater - Awake.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Platinum In Japan[edit]

According to a few sources, such as this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-6oUvqCAgM , Awake went Platinum in Japan (250,000+ copies sold). That seems like it would be worth noting in the article. 142.177.84.181 (talk) 15:39, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Space dye vest[edit]

there are bootlegs of space dye vest on youtube where johan rudess plays the song.but the article quotes portnoy saying that the song would never be played live without kevin moore. I think the statement by Portnoy should be checked and a clearer position be adopted in this regard.Metallicmania (talk) 19:10, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Who the hell cares if there isn't a title track?[edit]

Jeez, I think it's obvious. Why the need for the article to say so? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.166.7.121 (talk) 00:23, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Awake a grunge??? album[edit]

That is nonsense, especially since it is described as a prog metal album above — Preceding unsigned comment added by Allopislozano (talkcontribs) 15:11, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

...and where exactly does the article say it's a grunge album? Victor Lopes Fala!C 17:24, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
