Untitled[edit]

I've left the foll text in the article but it doesn't seem right. Should "river" be replaced by "estuary" perhaps?

"Although some members of the species do spend portions of their live outside of river systems, there are many individuals who live their entire lives within rivers, never venturing into the ocean proper." Nurg 09:00, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Confusing[edit]

"lives in the ocean and saltwater estuaries" -> Does that mean the ocean + saltwater estuaries, or ocean estuaries + saltwater saltwater? A layperson wouldn't know. Xiner 21:24, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Add a Section?[edit]

Should there be a food and foraging section? I'd like to get opinions on doing that before I add it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikieditor2258 (talkcontribs) 21:27, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2016 CNN Article Claim Refuted[edit]

metro.co.uk/2016/02/19/apparently-that-dolphin-wasnt-killed-by-tourists-taking-selfies-5705566/

Perhaps the CNN story citation should be removed? Or, just accompanied by this additional refutation. --184.248.15.101 (talk) 13:45, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Huh. I commented it out for the time being, let's see which version comes out on top. I don't think the story is important enough to present it + the refutation, if there's any doubt about veracity.-- Elmidae (talk) 15:28, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Add Section[edit]

It would be helpful to add a section discussing the evolutionary history of this animal. Who is its ancestors and when did it diverge from these ancestors? There are so many other species of river dolphins; thus, outlining the evolutionary tree would be useful for readers.

I think that the first paragraph under the section labeled, Conservation, needs to have a source cited within or at the end of that paragraph. Knmercy13 (talk) 23:44, 9 December 2016 (UTC) bberry5[reply]

Range and Habitat[edit]

There is no source cited for this section. I have added a [citation needed] note in the actual article.

Buzzfeed Source concern[edit]

I noticed there's an image source for buzzfeed in this article. However, it is not used anywhere in the article. Is the source even necessary? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bmfarmer (talkcontribs) 22:54, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
