Como is a town[5] in Hopkins County, Texas, United States. The population was 702 at the 2010 census.[6]

Texas politician Marshall Formby was born in Como in 1911. Former State Representative Erwin Cain practices law in Sulphur Springs but resides in Como with his wife and three children.[citation needed]

Geography[edit]

Como is in southeastern Hopkins County, along State Highway 11, which leads northwest 10 miles (16 km) to Sulphur Springs, the county seat, and southeast 13 miles (21 km) to Winnsboro. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.9 km2), of which 2.1 acres (8,536 m2), or 0.30%, are water.[6]
