Adding italics within wikilinks[edit]

Hi. I had to revert your edit to Star Trek: Enterprise because when you added italics to within the Wikilinks for the two list articles, it actually nullified the link. If you've done something similar in other articles, you may need to go back and remove the italics. It's a glitch, I'll admit. Cheers! 23skidoo 04:21, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm surprised I didn't catch that. Thanks. -- J44xm 15:11, August 18, 2005 (UTC)

DS9[edit]

You make the claim that Ferengi episodes are generally considered among the show's weakest. What evidence do you have for this? "Profit and Lace" was universally panned, but that's just one episode.--StAkAr Karnak 12:07, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. My time with the Trek community during DS9`s run gave me that impression, and I have reason to believe that many (if not most) fans feel that way; but without an easy way to illustrate it, I'll just change that. (It's certainly less universal than, say, dislike of Jar Jar Binks.) The original phrase used was "tinged with comedy" or something like that, which struck me as a bit too soft because Ferengi episodes were just about all played for heavy-handed comedy, even when they actually fit into the main storyline. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. -- J44xm 15:04, August 18, 2005 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
