The number of episodes mentioned in the text doesn't match with the listing of episodes.

There are 94 episodes:

60 11-minute episodes
33 22-minute episodes
 1 44-minute episode

That works out to 30+33+2=65 30-minute shows, which are also being called episodes.

Try comparing this article with this url: http://televisioninfo.blogspot.com/2005/08/disneys-adventures-of-gummi-bears.html It does look nearly identical, but the URL says it all. Either someone it could have been copied to Blogspot or been copied from Blogspot to Wikipedia.

The URL (as you pointed out) is for August 2005, the WikiPedia entry was definitely first, as the version from July 2005 is identical (or almost identical). Also, the inclusion of this...

As far as I can tell, there has been a rumor floating around since 2006 that the show will be shown on Cartoon Network. There don't seem to be any reliable sources to back this up. Mrbean22 (talk) 14:35, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gummi Bears and Wuzles[edit]

Copying from a website...[edit]

Oy do I hate to bring this up, as I really appreciate the value of this page on Wikipedia (I was a huge Gummi Bears fan growing up, and still am a fan)--however, it seems that practically the entire introductory text (possibly more) is copied word-for-word from the 3rd external link, "http://cortneywilliams.com/gummibears". Barbics?[edit]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can swear the barbarian Gummis' clansname is pronounced "barbits", so how come it's written with a "c" instead of "t"?

No, it's Barbics. But the two sound very similar, and it's possible the voice artists occasionally screwed up.

Sunni's tokenism?[edit]

D.A.R.E. does not like Gummi Bears?[edit]

It has been a week and the drug abuse comment has remained unverified. It's gone. I do not doubt the ridiculousness of some of the things D.A.R.E. has done in the past, but there is no proof that Adventures of the Gummi Bears was promoting drug use in kids through showing Gummiberry juice. Yes, Eisner asked his team to make a cartoon about the candy bears, and some very early story ideas that the writers were coming up with were actually related to the candy (based on my conversation with Jymn Magon a long time ago) --Cubbi (talk) 02:25, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary name-dropping[edit]

Hi @JesseRafe,

Normally I would go WP:BRD, but this doesn't make sense. Joseph Williams is clearly notable for himself, not because he's the son of John Williams or was singer of Toto at "one time" - he's the singer again actually, since 2010. Go figure. In this context, which is about the lead on the article on The Gummi Bears, an animated TV series, the background of the singer of the theme song is not necessary to mention in the lead - even if it's true. soetermans. ^{↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK} 16:02, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, reasonable people can disagree. I think it's interesting because "Joseph Williams" seems to be the name of some Joe Schmoe and I wouldn't click the WL, but "John Williams" and "Toto" are both, in my opinion, very well known.
