Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Hello Muckish, welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alphax τεχ 08:38, 13 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging for Image:Britannialion.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Britannialion.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see User talk:Carnildo/images. 10:53, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:DonegalSeven.jpg[edit]

I happened to see this image but it will be deleted, so maybe you can try to get an acceptable image licence from the author, or draw a new one yourself. An administrator will delete it in the near future. Cheers ww2censor 16:46, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seven Sisters etc[edit]

Have a quick look at the formatting of Seven Sisters, Donegal and Crocknalaragagh, now that I modified it, to see how these should be formatted. You could also do your write in a more encyclopaedic style if possible not forgetting to add the correct stub and category to the article. Thanks ww2censor 17:09, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Proof-gold-britannia.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Proof-gold-britannia.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:16, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
