Fair use rationale for Image:Material Issue IOP.jpg[edit]

Image:Material Issue IOP.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

References to be added[edit]

I've just gathered up a bunch of articles that can be used as references either for the main band article or for articles on each of the albums. I'm listing them here partially so I'll be able to find them when I get time to use them, but also in case any other editor wants to start incorporating them, just please use the citation template to avoid link rot.

Jim Ellison page needs development[edit]

I also found a lot of RS on Material Issue and Jim Ellison and will add it over time. The Jim Ellison page text needs to be developed or the page may be deleted. It also needs photographs. If you have any, please add them to his page. Thanks. I will work on the text over time as well. Smm201`0 (talk) 16:27, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Promo removed from Albums sub-section[edit]

I've removed the first entry from the Albums sub-section because it's a promo, as is my wont (Eleven Supersonic Hit Explosions, a promo for the International Pop Overthrow album). I someone intends to reinstate, they should also add the at least seven other MI promos out there (that doesn't even include the 2XCass advance copy for IPO). (FYI, I'll contest it.) -- Pete Best Beatles (talk) 18:09, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
