Shouldn't this be the location of the University of South Carolina Columbia page, and the other universities be disambiguated at University of South Carolina (disambiguation)? john k 19:18, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Taken care of. The former disambiguation page can now be found at University of South Carolina System [[User:Yardcock|Yardcock | talk]] 21:50, Sep 6, 2004 (UTC)

It is my humble opinion that this article should be deleted. I've never heard of the System, and the external link at the bottom of this article goes directly to the University of South Carolina, not something called the System. If this article should stand alone as it currently does, then it would be more accurate for it to be titled "University of South Carolina Campuses." However, this would be redundant since the USC article already references all eight campuses that comprise the University of South Carolina. I disagree with the assessment that the USC article should be more specifically geared towards the Columbia campus. The section currently titled "Campus" in the USC article could easily be changed to "Columbia Campus," and this article or the other campus section in the USC article could be placed directly below "Columbia Campus" as "Regional Campuses." None of the campuses consider themselves as anything but Gamecocks, and each should be respected as integral parts of the entire University of South Carolina. Please see reference #1 on the USC article for how USC tallys its enrollment. It certainly appears that the University brings all campuses under one banner. That banner should be the University of South Carolina. 69.164.62.134 06:12, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
