Bolsinaro Presidency Statistics - Math is Wrong, and Interpretation are Misleading[edit]

Topic: Jair Bolsonaro - The article, when discussing his presidency, states: "After his first year in power, Bolsonaro's popularity steadily declined. A Datafolha survey, published on 21 May 2019, showed that 34% of respondents described Bolsonaro's administration as "great or good"; 26% as "regular", 36% as "bad or awful", while 4% did not respond. This was the first time more Brazilians rejected the politics of Bolsonaro than affirmed it."

This is an inaccurate interpretation of the statistics, with erroneous math and is misleading conclusions. Only 36% of those polled rated him as "bad or awful". "Regular" is not an indictment of his policies. At the most, it means his policies are viewed as no better or worse than predecessors or alternatives. The statistics of those that responded "Regular" should not be folded into the "bad or awful" category and considered a rejection of his specific political policies. Responses for "Great or Good" and "Regular" total 60%, the majority or responses, do not indicate a rejection of his politics. The only statistic presented in the article that clearly represents a rejection of his politics is the 36% minority that responded "bad or awful". 71.43.117.210 (talk) 15:43, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • You misread: "more Brazilians rejected than affirmed" is correct, since 36% is greater than 34%. "Disapproval of Government Bolsonaro exceeds approval for the first time, shows Political Atlas research" is the title of the article; not "a majority disapproves". And did you see the notice on top of the article, "This talk page is for discussing the page Wikipedia:Accuracy dispute, and not for listing articles that editors believe may be factually inaccurate"? Matt Welch wiki incorrectly states that he started a paper in Prague[edit]

Welch, the American journalist and libertarian, states in episode #409 of his “Fifth Column” podcast that Wikipedia entries can often be inaccurate, and he explicitly uses this incorrect information - the claim in the Wiki that he started a newspaper in Prague - to illustrate his statement. 2603:8000:B640:81FC:9153:71CE:3A4B:A620 (talk) 22:59, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Aldo Crommelynck[edit]

It is stated that Aldo Crommelynck was Master Printer for Picasso. This is incorrect as Picasso actually worked closely with Aldo's brother, Piero Crommelynck. Piero was not only his Master Printer but a good friend. Many drawings by Picasso of Piero and his family are a testament to this. It was also Piero's resemblance to Picasso's father that drew Picasso to him.

Aldo Crommelynck was better known for his collaboration with English Artists, such as Richard Hamilton, and those from the USA.

Swastik information in the page is wrong.[edit]

Swastik is a predominantly sacred symbol used in Hindu culture. But you have put the main image and information only for Nazi swatika which is extremely wrong. And that the Swastik is used in American and African culture is extremely wrong. Please get ur facts cleared after thoroughly researching about it. 110.226.180.75 (talk) 09:27, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
