Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?

Name Change[edit]

I remember that the city wanted to change its name a few years ago. I don't remember what eventually came out of it. Can anyone check? Arbiteroftruth (talk) 13:16, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An East Valley Tribune article from 2006 indicates that there was a move to change the name to "Superstition", due to the image associated with the name "Apache Junction" (a lot of people think "trailer park", I think). --Node (talk) 00:43, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Trailer Community[edit]

There is much more to lodging than just trailers. Don't make us look like trailer trash! Get more information or remove the lodging part completely. 184.195.87.236 (talk) 00:54, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Popular Culture[edit]

Apache Junction was mentioned in the recent film Paul as being a UFO hotspot. I came to this Wikipedia article because I wanted to see if anything about it being a UFO hotspot was mentioned. I see no references to supposed UFO sightings here, but people I know who reside in the area say it is part of the community's history. The recent movie hasn't been added as a pop culture reference either. I'm not really a skilled Wiki user or I'd add this information to the article myself. 173.16.159.225 (talk) 20:54, 8 September 2011 (UTC)AshleyAEubanks[reply]
