Requesting to edit early-life and quick fact section to reflect that his birthplace was Otisco, Indiana which is referred to as being 3 miles east of Henryville, Indiana, which is actually 7 miles. The historical society representing the county in which mentioned cities rest erected a marker at the location of his home claiming he was born and lived there for the first nine years of his life.  Not done: So I just spent entirely too long looking at maps of tiny towns in Indiana, and I believe 3-4 miles is correct, depending on how you measure it. The article you linked does not give an exact address, but it does say the thing is on Zollman Road, which is about halfway between the centers of Henryville and Otisco. Change title?

Should it be Colonel Harland Sanders? Colonel is a title. I observed on other Wikipedia pages that we generally use names, for example Mark Milley who is a general. WoofWoof21 (talk) 18:36, 1 June 2023 (UTC)

I think this is one of the handful of exceptions to including a title in the article name. "Colonel Sanders" is how the country knows him. See WP:NICKNAME and WP:TITLESINTITLES. Schazjmd (talk) 21:04, 1 June 2023 (UTC)

Ordinance Works was the Manhattan Project

The current article states in 1942 Sanders worked for a government cafeteria at an "ordinance works." This is too vague. He worked for the Manhattan project and served 75,000 employees with top secret clearances at what became Oak Ridge National Lab. This also meant he had a secret clearance and a military rank - and there may be some sort of pun going on with "secret recipe." This begs the question of whether the pressure cooker he commercialized was developed for the Manhattan Project to feed high volumes of people with minimal kitchen staff. 104.220.249.24 (talk) 19:40, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
