Introduction[edit]

No where in this article on South Carolina does it include the actual vote count for leaving the Union in 1860. I think this is a critical piece of information and should be included.

South Carolina became the first state to vote in favor of secession from the Union on December 20, 1860 [add: by a vote count of 169-0.]

Proposed revision would look like: South Carolina became the first state to vote in favor of secession from the Union on December 20, 1860, by a vote count of 169-0.
