Problem: How to remove links to disambiguation pages on TLAs?

Wikipedia: page is Wikipedia:Disambiguation and abbreviations

Curent disambiguation methods[edit]

'A' has multiple meanings, but one is clearly dominant. Put an article on this at A, and link to 'A (disambiguation). A(disambiguation) has a list of possible meanings. Problem with this: wrong links to 'A' are hard to find within the mass of correct links to A. Failure of the 'disambiguation pages with links' script.

'B' has multiple meanings, but none are obviously dominant. Make B a disambiguation page, and re-link stuff to the correct article. Create 'B (disambiguation)', which redirects to B. Use this for links which should point to the disambiguation page (e.g. list of TLAs). Problem with this: lack of double redirects means that a redirect page that should link to the disambiguation page has to go straight there, not via 'B (disambiguation).

'C' has multiple meanings, but none are obviously dominant. Create 'C (disambiguation)' as a dismabiguation page, and redirect C to it. Re-link re-link stuff to the correct article. Links which should point to the disambiguation page go the 'C (disambiguation)'. Problem with this: any further links to C are not picked up by the 'disambiguation pages with links' script.
