Opinionated[edit]

The article seems a bit opinionated against the MGB and needs revision. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.149.152.145 (talk) 01:16, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A matter of opinion, and a matter of fact.[edit]

I disagree that the article is opinionated and needs revision. There has always been debate about the relative merits of the GT6 and the BGT and this is not likely to stop. It is evident that the article was written by a GT6 enthusiast but I don't think there was anything very controversial in it. Try both, then decide for yourself.

What irritated me was the choice of photo's: illustrating this kind of article is only helpful if the pictures are representative. In this case the "Mark I" is a Mark II, and all of the cars pictured have been modified or messed about with in some way. Including a picture of a open-topped (i.e. home-made) 'GT6' is especially pointless.

Since there are plenty of original cars left, why not use pictures of these?

Differential stuff[edit]

Who cares about "the writer's opinion". It's not backed up by any evidence and I have never seen these claims made elsewhere. The whole paragraph should be deleted unless the author gives sources.81.147.126.174 (talk) 22:35, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
