Why is this by default directing here?[edit]

It should direct to the chemical. -- 65.97.14.167

No it shouldn't. Paul Beardsell 22:30, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes it should. 65.97.14.167 11:33, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, fix it, then. It's a wiki. Edit boldly! Paul Beardsell 19:20, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But I think the article has been "fixed" incorrectly. Who is to say what the default LSA article should be? Usual practice is to fix the links which go to the disambiguation page so they do not go there but to the intended article. I am renaming this back to LSA. Paul Beardsell 07:52, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To explain. If you want another article not to read "the Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus disease is truly dreadful" but instead to read "the LSA disease is truly dreadful" then write the link this way: [[Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus|LSA]]. Paul Beardsell 07:58, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In order to have a LSA (disambiguation) article there must be one instance/usage of LSA which is overwhelmingly more popular / well known than its other uses. E.g. CIA points to the article about the secret service and there is a CIA (disambiguation) page for the other far less known meanings of the acronym and that is linked to from the top of the CIA article. Contrast with ABC which is a link direct to a page for disambiguation not to the broadcasting company, not to the circulation bureau, not to the Spanish newspaper, not to the motor car.
