Possible move[edit]

Seeing as this is really just a term definition and a few redirects, maybe the actual content should be moved to Glossary of video game terms or Wiktionary? Phoglenix (talk) 03:11, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a point to this article?[edit]

I just edited the World of Warcraft section, but frankly it seems like you could go on for days listing out spell-casting classes in different games (and literature). Luckily, that article already exists: Wizard (character class). Since this article doesn't contribute any additional meaningful information, I'm going to change it to quickly define the term, then provide links to the articles with more content. --67.218.17.97 (talk) 13:37, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting... I did a google search for a little character research for a D&D Wizard. I find this. It's a game folks... Get over it, and move along. Perhaps we could add a little more information with out violating the copy rights?

I'll see what I can do when I get a chance...

Accuracy dispute[edit]

The lack of any debate material other than one persons ignorance or lack of spiritual comprehension, has given me more than enough reason to delete this article.

I, myself do not practice or believe in the art. However, i do believe in allowing a person to have their own beliefs, as well as posting what they believe to be factual information.

Further more in a professional environment a person should not be allowed to respond to an article with "it doesn't exist". If a person wishes to debate the article then so be it, but please, before you post a comment it would be nice if you could at least use some intelligence instead of ignorance. 70.104.48.210 01:45, 30 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

And what you don't do is simply remove my comments, whether you agree with them or not.
I said:
This page is obviously complete nonsense -- people are *not* able to cast spells in the real world -- but I think it is referring to some fictional books or role-playing games or something & could be couched in those terms rather than deleted. Ben-w 00:29, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

Cleaned up[edit]

I tried to clean up this talk page a bit. Teklund 14:10, 30 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Don't do so at the expense of legitimate comments. Ben-w 21:21, 1 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

To my knowledge I didn't remove anything. Teklund 09:57, 2 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Nor did you. Sorry. Ben-w 07:53, 3 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Original Author[edit]

Er... originally when I started the article I was thinking D&D/RPG, and actually thing RPG-Wise. I didn't add a "This is an RPG related Article" because I had forgotten. Also, i made it manily to group all of the spellcasting groups in RPGs and such.

  • That's why I didn't VFD it ... I figured it was to do with an RPG. If you could contextualise the article a little bit that would remove the need for the accuracy tag, as I see it. It probably would also make it more useful to people looking for information about the game if it was categorised and crossreferenced and so forth. Ben-w 07:53, 3 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
