Battle of Sinop

This battle's significance is that it demonstrated the power of explosive shells against wooden ships, not the common Russian display of bravery or any significant tactical innovations, is it not? With respect, Ko Soi IX 06:03, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

The third fleet?

The Russian, was not the third fleet on the XVIII and early years of XIX centuries. The spanish fleet was the third, in some moments compiting with the french navy for the second place,until Trafalgar, and even a few years later.
