Various comments[edit]

Apparently it's one of the very few animations here on wikipedia. Good job! [[User:Halibutt|Halibutt]] 09:13, Sep 8, 2004 (UTC)

This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I don't know why, but when I saw this I couldn't stop laughing. --NoPetrol 01:32, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Apparently you can't release .GIFs under GNU liscence. Please look at this: [1]. I am putting a .gif on Wikipedia also, so I am going to release it into fair use. --NoPetrol 23:23, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)

That page does not say that you cannot release GIFs under their license - it only says that they (i.e. the FSF itself) won't use it because they feel it puts them at risk. --Random832T 19:24, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

it wiggles for me. the road jitters left and right a few times... in firefox 1.0 under linux - Omegatron 04:29, Dec 19, 2004 (UTC)

huh. it only does it when i view this page. not the article. probably just a firefox bug. - Omegatron 04:31, Dec 19, 2004 (UTC)

Is it just me, or do the cars look suspiciously similar to the ones featured in Grand Theft Auto 2? Ppk01 21:59, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I drew the cars myself. I haven't even played GTA(2). Fredrik Johansson 07:21, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, it's GTA. 60.48.231.194 (talk) 17:29, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Has anyone else noticed that the green car the enters from the right goes all the way round and leaves by the road it entered on? Did the driver take a wrong turn earlier or something? :-) -- AJR | Talk 16:30, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I assumed it was for illustrating U-turns. theProject 04:13, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Like the animation, good job. Just curious why those are give way lines? It's only one dotted line at a roundabout, not two surely? - JVG 01:12, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

is it just me or does anyone else think that in real life, some of those drivers would be putting their lives at risk by trusting drivers on a roundabout to not only be signaling corectly, but to know exactly how to use the roundabout. --Alphamone 14:38, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

yeah, plenty of people just don't indicate at roundabouts, I've seen people come off them whilst still indicating right, there would be crashes if you always relied on how people were indicating to judge when to set off. Starguitar 17:37, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
that may be true, but surely the image is to demonstrate how a roundabout should be used, and not how people actually treat it. one problem i have with the image is that when exiting a roundabout you should always exit into the left most lane, unless you are in a filter lane, at least, you should in the UK, yet some of the cars in this image exit in the same lane they entered. 2.96.112.4 (talk) 01:47, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
