Hiester family
The Hiester family was a German American political and military dynasty.[1]

- William Hiester (1790-1853) US Congressman[7]
- William Muhlenberg Hiester (1818-1878) Pennsylvania political leader[8]
- Isaac Ellmaker Hiester (1824-1871) US Congressman[9]
- Hiester Clymer (1827-1884) US Congressman[10]
In addition, the Hiesters were related to the Muhlenberg family.[11][12]
